Top coffees from Guatemala have such a wonderful aroma while brewing. It is such a joy to put your nose near the cap and just enjoy the aroma of a fine Guatemalan coffee. The aroma of fruit taffy, and red current jelly fills the senses.
High in the Cordillera de los Cuchumatanes of Guatemala near the small village of Trapichitos eighty families have come together to form a coffee collective. Bourbon and typica varietals grown in volcanic soil at more than 4,600 ft above sea level provide ideal growing conditions to produce a complex, balanced world class coffee. Grown passive organic, hand-picked, meticulously hand sorted and dried on raised wooden beds that produce a wonderful coffee that is tangy with a buttery finish.
